Ukrainian citizens can exchange hryvnias into euro at exchange rate set by National Bank of Ukraine

According to an agreement signed between the Bank of Lithuania and the National Bank of Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens with official refugee status will be able to exchange hryvnias into euro at the rate set by the National Bank of Ukraine from 10 October. The service will be available at Šiaulių bankas, AB, said the central bank.

Under the scheme proposed by the European Commission, implemented based on the agreement between the Bank of Lithuania and the National Bank of Ukraine, one Ukrainian citizen will be able to exchange a maximum of 10,000 hryvnias (approximately EUR 250).
