Nausėda: Russian society starts to realise war has reached their territory

The recent incursion into Belgorod by Russians fighting on the Ukrainian side is a clear signal to the Russian public that the war has entered their ground, President Gitanas Nausėda told the French media.

“Russian society is beginning to realise that the war has reached their territory. Until now, the war has not directly affected them, it has only been the images shown on television,” Nausėda said in an interview with the French daily Le Monde.
