"From 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., everyone can come to bid their final farewell and sign the Book of Condolences," the Secretariat of the Apostolic Nunciature has told BNS.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda plans to sign the Book of Condolences on Tuesday and to attend the funeral of Benedict XVI at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican on Thursday.

Benedict XVI, who was the head of the Catholic Church from 2005 until his resignation in 2013, passed away on December 31, 2022 aged 95.
