Unemployment rate at 5.7% in Q3

The Ministry of Social Security and Labour has reported that in September 2022 year-on-year unemployment in Lithuania decreased more than on average in the European Union and more than in Latvia, Estonia and Poland.

Data published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the EU, shows that unemployment in Lithuania stood at 5% in September 2022 and was by 1 percentage point below the EU’s average and by 1.5% lower than in September 2021.
