Tightened customs procedure applied this week

This week, on 28 November – 3 December, customs officers will be paying special attention to the sanctioned goods entering Lithuania after registering a large increase in the number of goods coming from Central Asia.

If there are suspicions that the country of origin or destination of the goods is incorrectly stated, the goods and the accompanying documents will be subjected to particularly rigorous checks, the Customs Department said in its press release.
