Seimas approves Governments’s proposal to raise non-taxable income rate

The Seimas has approved the draft law on the personal income tax aimed at raising the non-taxable income rate by EUR 85 to EUR 625.

The proposal was favoured by all the 116 MPs present in the voting.
MP Algirdas Butkevičius, deputy chair of the Political Group of Democrats For Lithuania, said in his presentation of the decision of the Committee on Budget and Finance on the draft law that it was approved by consensus in the committee.
