Rail Baltica: new tenders for construction works announced

LTG Infra, the company responsible for the implementation of the Rail Baltica project in Lithuania, has announced a new tender for construction works in Kėdainiai and Panevėžys Districts. The selected tenderer will form the track bed, and build engineering structures and local access roads for cars, reports the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

According to Dovydas Palaima, general manager at LTG Infra Rail Baltica Management, works are becoming more intensive in the most developed section of Rail Baltica from Kaunas to the Latvian border: “We actively announce new procurements of construction works, next year, as soon as the weather allows it, formation of the track bed will begin in Jonava District.”
