Prices for imported goods up by 14.5% in December

In December 2022, compared to November, the prices for exported goods decreased by 0.8 percent, those for imported goods – by 1.2 percent, announced the State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania).

As regards exported goods, the largest price drop was observed for refined petroleum products – 11.2 percent. A decrease in prices was recorded for stone, sand and clay (9 percent), planting material – live plants, bulbs, tubers and roots (7.9 percent), while an increase – electricity (16.6 percent), processed and preserved fish, crustaceans and molluscs (7.8 percent), other food products (4.7 percent).
