Parliament suspends third stage of electricity market liberalisation until 2026

At an extraordinary sitting on 10 October, the Lithuanian Parliament decided to suspend the third stage of liberalisation of the retail electricity supply market until 2026.

Amendments to the Law on Electricity passed with 111 votes in favour, 1 vote against and 1 abstention.
