Lithuanian Finance Minister Gintare Skaiste says the decisions reflect confidence in the country's new government, the Finance Ministry said in a statement.

Another credit rating agency – S&P Global Ratings – earlier affirmed Lithuania's long-term rating of A+, leaving a stable outlook.

Standard & Poor’s improved Lithuania's rating from A to A+ a year ago.

In late November, DBRS Morningstar left Lithuania's rating unchanged at A with a stable outlook.

Fitch Ratings' long-term credit rating for Lithuania now stands at A with a stable outlook.
