Minister: good year for agricultural sector despite increased costs

Lithuania’s agricultural sector has faced high prices for fertilisers, raw materials and energy resources this year, but yields are good, up 0.8% year-on-year, says Kęstutis Navickas, Minister for Agriculture.

“The yields were 0.8% higher in terms of harvested production. Prices were significantly higher, but there were no losses. We could call it a rather good year,” Navickas told Žinių radijas on Thursday.
