In January 2023, Lithuania’s foreign trade deficit amounted to EUR 461.1 million, the State Data Agency said in a press release.
In the first month of this year, exports of goods amounted to EUR 3.30 billion, imports – EUR 3.76 billion. Exports of goods of Lithuanian origin amounted to EUR 2.02 billion. Over the month (January 2023, against December 2022), exports decreased by 9%, imports – 17%.
