Lithuanian wind power capacity up by a third in 2022

Last year, Lithuania’s existing wind farms generated 1.51 TWh of electricity, with the wind power capacity growing up by a third year-on-year, the Ministry of Energy announced.

With 370 MW of wind power capacity installed in 2022, the country is set for further growth this year. Four more wind farms are to be connected to the transmission grid in the near future, at the total generation capacity of 235 MW.
