New passenger car registrations in Lithuania soared to 10,250 in January-March, up 58.2 percent from 6,480 a year-ago.
Latvia posted a 6.6 percent annual increase to 4,460, but Estonia recorded a decline of 6.9 percent to 6,170 units.
Across the EU, car sales inched down by 3.3 percent to 4.033 million over a year.
