Kreivys: EC is asked to mediate in talks with Sweden over sharing of excess profit of electricity generators

Lithuania has addressed the European Commission requesting mediation in talks with Sweden over sharing of excess profit of some electricity generating companies.

“The EC was addressed in agreement with the Swedes. Yesterday, a deputy minister visited Brussels and spoke with officials from the Energy Department responsible for these negotiations,” Minister of Energy Dainius Kreivys told the radio station Žinių radijas on Thursday.
