Industrial production in Lithuania down by 12% in January

In January 2023, the seasonally adjusted industrial production increased by 0.7% in the euro area and by 0.3% in the EU, compared with December 2022, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

In January 2023 compared with January 2022, industrial production increased by 0.9% in the euro area and by 1.0% in the EU.
In the euro area in January 2023, compared with December 2022, production of intermediate goods grew by 1.5%, while production of capital goods fell by 0.2%, durable consumer goods by 0.7%, energy by 0.8% and non-durable consumer goods by 2.1%.
