Ignitis urges energy companies to provide aid to Ukraine

On Tuesday, Ignitis Group CEO Darius Maikštėnas appealed to managers of energy companies urging them to donate part of profits in aid for Ukraine.

The CEO stressed in his letter that Russia’s war launched against Ukraine a year ago has had disastrous effects on the people of Ukraine who had to flee their homes or forgo the basics of a life with dignity: no electricity, no heating in winter and no water supply, not to mention the buildings that have been destroyed and the lives that have been taken.
