Citadele bank income up by 12% in 2022

In 2022, the Citadele bank earned operating income of EUR 168.2 million, 12% growth year-on-year. In the last quarter of 2022, the bank’s operating income was EUR 46.4 million or 10% more if compared to the Q4 of 2021, Citadele said in a press release.

Given the increased uncertainty in macroeconomics the bank continued to take a more conservative approach and has made impairments in amount of EUR 23.8 million in 2022 (EUR 8.8 million in Q4), the press release reads.
