Annual inflation stood at 23.6% in October

In October 2022, against September, prices for consumer goods and services increased by 1.2 percent. This was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for vegetables, fuels and lubricants, clothing, bread and cereal products, footwear, milk and milk products, cheese and eggs, meat and meat products, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery, as well as a decrease in prices for heat energy, electricity, reports Statistics Lithuania.

Over the month, prices for consumer goods increased by 1.4 percent, those for consumer services – 0.6 percent.
